The first step is to visit a chapter or chapters in your region to ensure that BNI is something you feel will add value to your business. At the same time you might like to run a category search in the Trade Directory to find who else from your trade or profession is already an active member of BNI - you may be surprised at how many of your competitors you find!
All chapters are listed on the website - however as we only permit one person per trade or profession in a chapter - the next step is to contact the BNI Regional Director for the chapter you are interested in prior to your visit to ensure that there is a vacancy for you.
Following your visit - if you decide you would like to apply to join a chapter - you will need to submit your application form together with your payment to the chapter Leadership Team for review. You need to be sponsored by an exisiting members and are required to provide two business referrences for following up by the chapter Leadership Team as part of the review process.
In the event that there is no vacancy for you at the present time - please contact Bob Greenup at BNI 02 9191 0691 and ask to be place on the waiting list and to be contacted as soon as a vacancy becomes available for your business category.
